It’s a busy time of year for us at Bliss.  New merchandise is rolling in for Spring - bright colors, fun dresses, and even shorts!  It’s as if our stores are getting a fresh makeover after a long winter; it’s exciting (and refreshing!) to say the least.  But for some of us, we’re already looking ahead to Fall... yes, Fall.  You see, just a couple weeks ago we headed down to New York City for Fall Coterie - the largest women’s contemporary clothing & accessories trade show in the fashion industry.  With over 1,200 vendors and 15,000 attendees, it’s a whirlwind of Fall collections, upcoming trends and a glimpse into what our stores will look like come September.

I know it’s hard to even think about skipping over the best time of year (spring/summer!), but trust me when I say that you won’t be disappointed when Fall rolls around.  Keep reading for a recap of our buying trip!

Welcome February: the shortest month of the year (even with the extra day for leap year!), the month of love and a month FULL of new arrivals!  Just in the past 3 days, we've been hustling around putting out new scarves, new boots, new dresses (and the cutest Susana Monaco romper!), new tops & of course, new denim.  Believe me when I say, it was tough to pick just one item to feature in our "Obsession of the Week" post.  That's why, I've decided to feature all of the gorgeous New Scotland sweaters that we just added to our sales floors.  We can't stop thinking about these luxurious knits (and you won't either).

1.  According to the groundhog, we have 6 more weeks of winter.  New Scotland's ribbon crew sweater will make this news slightly more bearable.  Available in two earthy colors (natural cream and a soft, taupey grey), you will be able to wear this cotton/linen blend now... and when spring finally arrives! 

2.  There is just something about a hand-knit cable sweater.  It's as if you can feel (and see) the hours upon hours that were spent making each special piece.  In a way it makes it feel more exclusive... more coveted... more unique.  This sweater fits the bill in every way; it's a work-of-art that will never go out of style.

3.  Oh spring cashmere, you never cease to amaze me.  Take your pick between a guazy cashmere cardigan with cute little buttons, a classic cashmere crew neck, or a navy & white striped cashmere crew neck.  They are all so great, you'll have a hard time picking just one.  These wispy, cashmere sweaters are the perfect indulgence this time of year - stop by & see for yourself!
